More PhotosThe villa itself is an eye-pleaser too, built in a modern Mediterranean style with airy light-filled spaces and tastefully furnished with smart contemporary pieces. And if you can tear yourself away from the views, you have some great beaches within a short drive. It all adds up to rather fabulous Mallorcan holiday to remember.
SETTING
Villa Coral is set in the peaceful and exclusive hillside Las Brisas neighbourhood, close to swanky Port d’Andratx on the southwest coast of Mallorca. One of the closest and nicest beaches is at Camp de Mar, a 10-minute drive away – golfers can find the 18-hole Golf de Andratx course here, too. The best way to explore the coast is by water, and you can charter a boat in Port d’Andratx to do just that. You’re also within easy reach of the island’s buzzing capital, Palma and its airport, at 30-40 minutes by road.
Stunning bay views and lovely Mediterranean garden
SLEEPING
The villa comfortably sleeps up to six guests across its three bedrooms. Two of these are found on the lower ground floors, each with its own ensuite bathroom and with easy access to the gardens and pool area. A third bedroom with bathroom has its own private entrance. All are nice and spacious, with plenty of natural light and big beds with quality bedding for a good night’s sleep.
RELAXING
With its long shimmering water and cascading waterfall flanked by tidy lawns and swaying palms, the swimming pool is a picture. An infinity edge means you don’t have to leave it to enjoy those gorgeous views, either. When you are ready to, you’ll find poolside daybeds plus a sun terrace lined with cushioned loungers to flop onto and dry off in the Mallorcan sunshine.
There’s also a wonderful covered patio on the villa’s upper floor where you can enjoy elevated views from comfy wicker seating. If you’d rather chill indoors, a huge lounge has two seating areas and a fireplace perfect for chillier evenings.
EATING
If you love to cook, there’s a lovely big kitchen with top-of-the-range appliances and central island perfect for preparing light lunches or big dinners. The kitchen also connects directly to an alfresco terrace with long dining table where you can accompany your meal with sea views.
If you’d rather eat out, there are loads of top-notch options in nearby Port d’Andratx. You’re also just minutes’ drive from the popular Beach Club Gran Folies with its quality dining and impressive bay-side pool.
