SETTING
This villa’s 13-hectare grounds sit in a hilltop hamlet in the majestic Tramuntana Sierra, just a short drive from the famously pretty town of Deià and its scenic cove. The area offers some fabulous hiking trails and there are lots of lovely towns to discover within a short drive, such as Sóller and Valldemossa. Despite the location’s wonderful sense of remoteness and serenity, you’re still less than an hour from Mallorca’s buzzing capital and the airport.
SLEEPING
Four bright and beautifully styled bedrooms sleep up to eight guests, with top-quality Vispring mattresses and Egyptian cotton bed linen ensuring the best possible rest. All rooms are also equipped with Sonos sound systems and air conditioning, while ensuite bathrooms come with fluffy hypoallergenic towels and bathrobes. Some of the rooms also open to a terrace where you can stretch out on loungers and take in those stunning panoramas.
RELAXING
As well as affording breathtaking views over the scenic surroundings, the villa’s salt-water pool is big enough for a decent swim and is lined with comfy cushioned sunbeds to flop on afterwards. You’ll also find palapa-style shade poolside if you’d rather dry off under dappled sunlight. When you’re ready to tear yourself away to visit one of the nearby coves, the villa also provides beach towels and baskets for the trip.
EATING
Every morning, staff prepare a continental breakfast for guests, with fresh pastries, fruit, cheese and juice from the villa’s own oranges. A modern kitchen has all the appliances you need for cooking meals, or a private chef can easily be arranged, plus you have use of a gas barbecue. You can ask for grocery shopping to be delivered, too, or for super-fresh produce, you can even help yourself to whatever happens to be ready to pick from the villa’s vegetable garden. For eating out, a must-try is one of the two restaurants in nearby Cala Deià, where the freshest seafood is accompanied by a dreamy waterside setting.
