This remarkably elegant piece of architectural design is beautifully integrated into its steep hillside setting high up above Port d’Andratx. It’s a peaceful and largely residential area, covered with pine trees and affording spectacular views over one of Mallorca’s prettiest bays. You drive straight into the upper floor of the house, with the other three levels cascading gracefully down to the sunny swimming pool area.

Adding to the villa’s dreamy vibe are balustrade-lined staircases and columns that bring a touch of classical refinement, too. Bright and breezy interiors combine with comfy and casual furnishings for a laid-back summery feel, perfect for enjoying your holiday on the island to the full.
SETTING
Set high in the hills above Port d’Andratx not only gives you incredible views of the neighbouring bay and surrounding scenery, but means easy access to the buzzing marina just a few minutes’ drive away. You’re also within a short walk of some lovely hiking and biking trails that meander around the mountainous coastal landscape. For some sand between your toes, you’re less than 15 minutes by road from two great beaches – Camp de Mar and Sant Elm. What’s more, it’s just half and hour’s drive from the buzz and bustle of Palma and its international airport.

SLEEPING
The villa’s five double bedrooms comfortably sleep groups of up to 10, with all but one extending to its own bathroom. Rooms are bright and cheerfully decorated, with most enjoying those fabulous vistas and some opening to a private terrace – perfect for drinks at dusk as the sunset reflects across the bay.
RELAXING
Chances are you be spending a lot of time dipping in and out of the superb mosaic-lined swimming pool, flopping on a poolside lounger or cushioned Bali bed to dry off in the Mallorcan sun. Just next to the pool is a covered terrace with bubbling jacuzzi and bar area for mixing drinks. You’ll also find a small fitness room a few steps away and inside a Finnish-style sauna if you fancy a detox.
EATING
There’s a spacious kitchen with all the top-range appliances you’ll need, including double ovens if you’re planning cooking up something fancy. You have use of a Weber gas barbecue, too, if you fancy something more casual, and there’s an alfresco dining table for views while you dine – the twinkling lights below make for a particularly magical atmosphere.
Eating out is certainly no problem, with a wealth of excellent harbour-side restaurants just down the hill in Port d’Andratx. Just the next bay along, Cala Llamp, you’ll also find the excellent Folies Beach Club, a great spot for a long lingering lunch by the sea.
