SETTING
This luxury villa is located in the centre of the peaceful residential neighbourhood and increasingly exclusive enclave of Genova, just west of Mallorca’s capital. As well as the buzzing city of Palma just a short drive away, you have the popular sandy beaches of Cala Major five minutes and Illetas 10 minutes away by road. In the other direction, you’re also just minutes from some lovely hiking trails that wind around pine-covered hills and afford stunning views along the coast.
SLEEPING
The villa offers six bedrooms spread over two floors, comfortably sleeping up to 11 guests. Each room has its own ensuite bathroom with pebble-floor rainfall showers, plus one opens to an alfresco soaking tub with views. Decor is light and airy with a soothing blend of calming tones, limewashed woods and contemporary fixtures. Some rooms also extend to a long terrace with sun loungers, canopy shading and gorgeous sea-view panoramas.
RELAXING
A swimming pool measuring 13 x 5 metres offers a sunny spot to cool off and plenty of cushioned loungers to flop onto and soak up the lovely vistas. As well as the pool terrace with a covered lounge area, you’ll find a separate leafy secluded garden to the rear. There are also plenty of spots to relax inside, including a chill-out area with a huge HD television and a cosy sitting room with a log fire and built-in sofa. You’ll also find a dedicated pool room with an elegant antique table.
EATING
For those who like to cook, the super-modern Birgit Mueller kitchen provides everything you’ll need from top-range appliances to plenty of wood-panelled cupboard space. You are also treated to lovely views beyond the terrace while you prep. If you prefer to cook al fresco, there’s a summer kitchen too, complete with a built-in charcoal barbecue. For eating out there’s no shortage of nearby options either. You’re within walking distance of several top-notch traditional eateries or spoilt for choice for dining in the nearby capital.
